Born from a love of home fragrance and a desire to create something meaningful, our candles are made to bring moments of joy and relaxation into peoples’ everyday lives. What began as a personal ritual to find balance has evolved into a brand rooted in the belief that scent has the power to enhance mood, enrich daily rituals and evoke memories. Our fragrance range reflects our experiences and cultural influences and each candle we create captures a part of our story.
Our fragrances are inspired by the beauty of nature, nostalgic memories and the spirit of adventure. Each scent is thoughtfully curated to evoke a mood and take you on an olfactory journey. We pour intention into each candle, inviting you to experience the same comfort, joy and sense of adventure that inspire us.

Our products
Our candles are hand poured by us in small batches from our base in East London. They are made using a blend of sustainably sourced Rapeseed & Coconut wax and premium quality fragrance oils.
Rapeseed & coconut wax is currently one of the most sustainable waxes on the market and is completely free from paraffin, palm, beeswax, synthetic additives and GMO’s. The rapeseed is sourced in Europe and the coconut comes from small holder farmers in the Philippines and Indonesia. There is no deforestation in order to plant new coconut trees.
Rapeseed and Coconut wax also has excellent burning properties & produces a superior scent throw. Our products contain premium quality fragrance oils sourced from reputable suppliers and are vegan friendly and cruelty free. We extensively test every blend to assess wicking, scent throw and burn quality.
The inspiration behind our name
The name 'Billie Rose' comes from two dearly departed and much loved parents.
Bill (Allan’s dad) was born in St. Thomas, Jamaica and came to London in the 1950s as part of the Windrush Generation. He settled in Brixton, South London which had become a vibrant hub for many Caribbean families starting new lives in the UK. It was there that he raised his family and built a life grounded in love, laughter and strong values. Bill was a fantastic cook and an animated storyteller.
Rose (Julia’s mum) grew up in a mining family in Easington, County Durham but left for the bright lights of London at just 16 years old in search of adventure and opportunity. As a trained dancer, she performed in variety shows across London and shared the stage with some of the big names of her time. Rose was a spiritual soul who treated everyone she met with genuine love and kindness.
Rose and Bill never got to meet but we know they would've been great friends and we hope they are somewhere having a laugh and a drink together.
We aspire to embody their ethos of peace, love & unity and hope they would be proud of who we are today.
